Born in Bassano del Grappa, made his Diplom in composition at the Conservatorio „Santa Cecilia“ in Rome and in 1988, he made his degree in Wien at the Music Akademie und Darstellende Kunst.

In Wien, attended Courses of Orchestra conducting, composition, piano and cembalo.

He made his debut as conductor at the Wiener Festwochen in 1987 and, in 1988, at the Mozarteum of Salzburg.

From there on, his musical activity, took him to the principal european capitals as Wien, Berlin, Salzburg, Köln, Rome, Venice and many others, in USA and Japan. His repertoire cover operas of Monteverdi, Gluck, Mozart, till to Verdi and Puccini.

He founded the Chamber Orchestra „Lorenzo Da Ponte“ and collaborate since more than 20 years, with the best european orchester musiciants. He recorded for the Mozarteum Foundation in Salzburg, for DG, for the Nuova Era, and collaborated with the main italian and foreign Radio and TV.
